The Relax formulation is designed to nourish and restore the nervous system of a dog that is so stressed or nervy as to be its own worst enemy. This formulation has been regularly fed to clients dogs over a 20 year period in our Clinic, support for many owners and trainers alike.
Retraining your dog to react differently in stressful situations will break the habit but is a great deal simpler if accompanied by nervous system tonics that help to relax your dog so that they are able to respond better to training .
Animal Botanical Canine Relax formula is given initially 3 doses per day and then reduced to 2 or 1 per day as the behaviour improves. The size of the single dose is then reduced slowly to find the minimum dose that maintains the dog in a calm and reasonable frame of mind.
Animal Botanical™ Relax formulation contains some of the most reliable and traditionally used herbs for reducing physical nervous tension and anxiety.
How do I use it?
• Small dog < 5 kilos: provide 3-5 drops twice daily on or within feed
• Medium dog < 25 kilos: provide 5-15 drops twice daily on or within feed
• Large dog > 25 kilos : provide 15-30 drops twice daily on or within feed
Shake well before use. For best results maintain continuous use for a minimum of 3 weeks. Discontinue use 24 hours prior to any surgical procedure, and wait 24 hours after surgery before continuing use

Happy with result
My Dog was sensitive to certain noises. Now she is a lot calmer and those noises that bothered her no longer do. It took about a week before we noticed changes. It didn't stop her from being her usual switched on self it just took the edge off and made her less likely to be concerned about those certain noises.

The product may be too strong! She is sometimes too relaxed, and I would like her to have the energy to enjoy life!

Brilliant Product!
My youngest Border Collie had a doggy breakdown after being traumatised 3 times in 6 months by other dogs and went from a top obedience dog to crouching, scared and depressed on her mat at home. After 6 weeks on Relax, she's back to happy at home and is enjoying her daily runs again and managed a few minutes heel work away from home for the first time in a few months. She still has a long way to get back to competition trialing but this has made an massive difference for her and I will never be without it in the house as a supplement for any of my dogs if needed. Brilliant stuff!

Definitely works on my highly strung Maltese X
Harry is becoming more reactive as he ages, probably because he can't see so well nowadays and is pretty much night blind. I bought these hoping they would help as the Allergy drops helps one of the other dogs so well.
At first I didn't think they were making any difference - until grooming day, when I popped him up on the table for a brush and comb through, teeth clean and to check his ears/nails. Usually he starts to tremble the second his little feet hit the table (I assure you I've NEVER hurt him or lost my temper with him EVER); but miraculously he just sat there and let me get on with it. At one point he literally keeled over and went to sleep! These drops will be a staple in my fridge from now until little Harry leaves us completely.Thank you for making his last months/years less stressful :)

Works well to ease anxiety
My old boy started using this mixture as he was getting anxious and showing some signs of potential doggy dementia. It has greatly helped reduce his anxiety. Recommended.

Calmer dog, happier household
My four-year-old Belgian Shepherd has always been anxious. She has recently started reacting to the slightest sound outside, leaping up and barking hysterically and unable to calm. What was worse is that every time she'd bark, she'd start off my other dog, and they'd keep each other going endlessly. All the counter-conditioning training and tricks were getting me nowhere on their own. Within a week of being on Relax, she no longer responds to every noise outside - some she sleeps through, others she registers but decides she doesn't need to deal with. She is still fearful of thunder and noises that are too loud will still rouse her, but mostly it's a much calmer and peaceful household, and I have more chance to get on with the training now that she's generally able to manage far better.

Excitable Retriever
My 3 year old Goldie x Lab is such an excitable girl forever a puppy in her behaviour. This was starting to wear thin with me as when we went out as she wasn't listening to me just in her own world of happiness. She is very curious always alert when on walks and happy dancing when another dog appears which isn't always great. I refused vet medication so I researched and found the Relax which she has been on for a month or so and the difference is remarkable. She is much calmer watches me for instructions and best of all I can let her off lead (where safe and NO distractions) and she is learning to listen to me and is rewarded with lots of bunny chasing, swimming and retrieves with her ball down the beach. I combine the Relax with the Hemp Seed Oil and everyone has noticed how well she looks and especially how well behaved she has become.

Love this formula
My older dog has anxiety and my adolescent pup was going through a challenging time and being reactive to noises outdoors. Relax formula has helped both dogs to feel calmer and relax more in conjunction with training. I love this product and recommend it to all my clients who have dogs that worry about things in their worlds

Amazing!
Our female German Shorthaired Pointer is anxious all the time and noise reactive. Vet prescribed Valium did nothing to help. I was looking for something she could take safely everyday that would take the edge off. Hubby was sceptical but he was the first to notice a massive difference in her temperament after only a couple of weeks. She’s calm, she sleeps during the day, rarely barks, walks better on her lead and was unfazed by a recent thunderstorm (thundershirt was also used). The difference is amazing, she is just a much happier dog - thanks so much!
